This bill allows eligible voters to register at their assigned polling place on the day of a municipal, primary, or general election. To register, an applicant must present an identifying document, complete a voter registration form, and sign an affidavit stating they are not already registered, have lived in the county for at least 30 days, and will not vote again in that election. The commissioner of registration will issue a temporary registration certificate, and the applicant can vote by provisional ballot.
