New Jersey S1474 amends existing laws to require the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to prioritize funding for certain projects. Specifically, the bill directs the DEP to assign additional priority points to project applicants with established programs to employ local residents and to projects that include, or allow for, flood mitigation projects.
