Allows property tax rebate for disabled veterans based on their service-connected disability rating.

This bill provides property tax relief for disabled veterans in New Jersey. It allows a rebate for veterans who have been honorably discharged or released from the Armed Forces and have a service-connected disability. The rebate amount is a percentage of the property taxes paid on the veteran's homestead, equal to the percentage of their disability rating. The rebate is capped at $5,000 and is not available to veterans with a gross income over $200,000. The rebate is subject to annual appropriations by the Legislature.
