New Jersey S1456 mandates implicit bias training for judges and judicial personnel.

New Jersey S1456 directs the Administrative Office of the Courts to create an evidence-based training program on implicit bias. This program must be reviewed every two years and updated as needed. The Administrative Director of the Courts is tasked with ensuring all judges and judicial personnel complete initial training within 90 days of appointment or transfer and receive annual inservice training.
