New Jersey S1455 provides veterans with up to 60 credits tuition-free at county college serving their county of residence. To qualify, a veteran must be enrolled in good standing and apply for all available State and federal student grants and scholarships, as well as any tuition benefits under the federal Post-9/11 GI Bill. Credits earned for military experience count toward the 60-credit limit. The financial aid office must inform the veteran of any available State and federal student grants and scholarships.
