Establishes New Jersey Center for Study and Prevention of Suicide at Rutgers School of Public Health.

This bill establishes the New Jersey Center for the Study and Prevention of Suicide at the Rutgers School of Public Health. The center will research the causes and prevention of suicide, and develop policies and programs to reduce suicide rates. It will work with state policymakers and may administer a grant program for suicide research. The center will submit reports to the Governor and Legislature on its research projects and funding. State departments and agencies will provide data to the center upon request.
