Clarifies procedures for maintenance of underground storage tanks in New Jersey.

This bill amends existing regulations concerning underground storage tanks in New Jersey. It mandates that owners or operators of underground storage tanks must designate on their facility’s registration certificate the individual or entity responsible for compliance with maintenance standards and corrective actions. The Commissioner of Environmental Protection is directed to adopt implementing rules and regulations within twelve months of the enactment.
