New Jersey S1411 mandates stress testing on the state's ability to provide services in various economic conditions.

New Jersey S1411 requires the Department of the Treasury to conduct and report a stress test analysis every three years on the state's ability to maintain services and provide necessary assistance to residents in various economic conditions. The stress test analyses must include long- and short-term projections of major funding sources, a comparison between projections and historical trends, an analysis of expenditures likely to change, an accounting of the state's reserves, and options to respond to economic recessions.
