This bill creates the Civil Air Patrol Fund within the Department of Military and Veterans’ Affairs. The fund will be supported by annual appropriations of $100,000, federal and other grants, and donations from the public. The fund will be used to support cadet programs focusing on STEM, aviation, search and rescue training, disaster relief, and other training initiatives. The bill also appropriates $100,000 from the General Fund to implement the provisions of the bill.
