This bill increases the annual income limit for eligibility to receive a homestead property tax reimbursement. Currently, the income limit is $80,000 or less for single persons or married couples. This bill would increase that income limit to $100,000 or less in 2017 and each year thereafter, to allow more senior citizens and disabled persons to qualify for this property tax relief program.
