Chamber Passed·6/30/26
Introduced Text

New Jersey S1312 allows emergency medical technician and paramedic certification cards to count as two points for the MVC identification verification.

New Jersey S1312 amends the identification verification program administered by the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (MVC). The bill allows applicants for an examination permit, a driver’s license, commercial driver license, non-driver identification card, or power vessel operator’s license to submit a valid emergency medical technician or paramedic certification card issued by the Department of Health. These certification cards will count for two points in the MVC’s Six-Point Identification Verification Program.
