New Jersey S127 requires members of the State Board of Education to attend meetings in person to be recorded as present, except during a state of emergency declared by the Governor. The bill also mandates that all public meetings of the State Board of Education must be accessible both in person and virtually, with a virtual access link available on the State Board of Education’s website. Additionally, it allows members of the public to provide comments by remote communication during meetings that accept public comment.
