New Jersey S1246 authorizes the Chief Administrator of the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission to issue Ancient Order of Hibernians license plates. The design is selected by the commission in consultation with the Ancient Order of Hibernians, New Jersey State Board. The commission cannot begin producing the plates until the Ancient Order of Hibernians, New Jersey State Board provides funds to offset initial costs and at least 500 completed applications. The bill prohibits using state funds for initial costs and programming changes.
