Designates portion of Interstate Route 280 in West Orange as "Governor Brendan Byrne Memorial Highway.

This bill designates a portion of Interstate Route 280 in West Orange as the "Governor Brendan Byrne Memorial Highway" to honor Governor Brendan T. Byrne. The bill specifies that the Commissioner of Transportation will erect signs bearing this designation. State or other public funds cannot be used for producing, purchasing, or erecting these signs. Instead, the Commissioner is authorized to receive financial assistance from private sources for these costs. The bill takes effect immediately.
