Removes requirement that certain individuals and entities provide addresses on certain ELEC filings; authorizes ELEC to establish document submission.
This bill removes several requirements for addresses to be provided on forms filed with the Election Law Enforcement Commission (ELEC). The changes made by this bill were recommended by ELEC in order to better protect individual’s privacy. The bill also authorizes ELEC to establish document submission and record retention requirements for gubernatorial candidates participating in and seeking to participate in the State’s public financing program.
