Exempts farm vehicles from certain commercial motor vehicle liability coverage requirements.

This bill exempts farm tractors and traction equipment used for farm operation from certain commercial motor vehicle liability coverage requirements. Under current law, the owner of a commercial motor vehicle is required to maintain motor vehicle liability coverage of at least $300,000. The bill modifies the definition of "commercial motor vehicle" to exclude farm tractors and traction equipment used for farm operation, thus exempting them from the $300,000 coverage requirement.
