The Opportunity Scholarship Act establishes a five-year pilot program in the Department of Treasury to provide tax credits to taxpayers contributing to scholarships for low-income children. The program allows taxpayers to claim a tax credit against the corporate business tax or gross income tax equal to 100% of any contribution made to a selected scholarship organization.
