Requires parity in Medicaid reimbursement rates for certain routine inpatient hospice room and board services.

This bill mandates that the Medicaid reimbursement rate for inpatient room and board hospice services provided in an inpatient unit by a licensed hospice care program must be equal to the Medicaid reimbursement rate for room and board services provided by a nursing home. The reimbursement rate provided under the bill will apply to days of care when the patient is at the routine level of care, as defined for the purposes of the federal Medicaid program, and to any days during which the patient is no longer receiving hospice care services from the program but continues to reside with the.
