Proposed constitutional amendment to increase annual income limit for senior and disabled property tax deduction in New Jersey.

This bill proposes a constitutional amendment to increase the annual income limit for the senior and disabled property tax deduction in New Jersey from $10,000 to $15,000. The amendment would take effect in 2023. Currently, the income limit has not been increased since 1983, when it was raised from $9,000 to $10,000. The amendment will be submitted to the voters at the next general election occurring more than three months after final agreement.
