New Jersey ACR125 proposes an amendment to the state constitution to establish a right to comprehensive, affordable, and accessible health care for all residents. This right would apply to everyone, regardless of age, sex, race, pre-existing health condition, income, economic status, or ability to pay. The Legislature would be required to enact any laws necessary to secure this right. The amendment would be submitted to the people at the next general election occurring more than three months after the final agreement.
