Introduced Text

Reallocates fines for "Antwan's Law" violations to local municipalities for law enforcement.

This bill amends "Antwan's Law," which reduces speed limits in certain areas of Burlington County and triples fines for violations. Currently, fines are paid into the state treasury. This bill changes the law so that fines for "Antwan's Law" violations are paid into the municipal treasury of the municipality where the violation occurred, to be used for law enforcement purposes.
