Waives business formation and registration fees for veteran-owned businesses in New Jersey.

This bill would exempt veteran-owned businesses from paying business formation and registration fees in New Jersey. The exemption applies to both for-profit businesses and domestic non-profit organizations. To qualify, veterans must provide proof of their status, such as a DD-214 form or a Certificate of Release or Discharge from Active Duty. The bill does not affect renewal fees. The State Treasurer will implement the changes through necessary rules and regulations.
