Expands membership and responsibilities of State Council of Developmental Disabilities.

The bill expands the membership and responsibilities of the State Council of Developmental Disabilities. It increases the number of State agency representatives on the council to eight, including the Commissioner of Children and Families and the Ombudsman for Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities and their Families. The council's responsibilities now include assisting the Children’s System of Care in identifying and analyzing gaps in services for children and youth with disabilities, and making recommendations on how to address these gaps.
