New Jersey A736 exempts certain zoning ordinance changes from notice requirements when adding a new use within a zoning district.
New Jersey A736 amends existing law to clarify that notice requirements do not apply when a governing body amends a zoning ordinance solely to add a new use within a zoning district. Notice must still be given to property owners either by serving a copy of the ordinance or by mailing it to the property owner's address as shown on the current tax duplicate. This act takes effect immediately.
