Amends Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations to allocate 2.5% of Working Class Families State Supplement funds for outreach.

This bill amends the Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations act to require 2.5 percent of the funding for the Working Class Families State Supplement to be used for informational and outreach activities. The Working Class Families State Supplement supports expanded eligibility for the free school breakfast and lunch program for working class and middle-income families. The Fiscal Year 2027 appropriations act allocated $15 million to the Department of Agriculture for this purpose. This bill mandates that $375,000 of those funds be used for outreach to increase awareness of the program.
