This bill codifies the establishment of the Victim Information and Notification Everyday System (VINE system) and expands notification requirements for certain victims of domestic violence. The VINE system will automatically notify victims when a defendant charged with a domestic violence crime is released from custody, incarcerated, or completes parole supervision.
