New Jersey A5301 mandates that various health insurance policies and contracts, including those from health service corporations, medical service corporations, hospital service corporations, individual health insurance policies, group health insurance policies, small employer health benefits plans, and individual health benefits plans, must cover the cost of diapers when deemed medically necessary by a pediatrician or other medical doctor. This requirement applies to policies and contracts delivered, issued, executed, or renewed in New Jersey after the act's effective date.
