The “Jack Reid Law: Protect All Students Act” prohibits harassment or bullying of nonpublic school students and requires nonpublic schools to adopt anti-harassment and bullying policies. The bill defines harassment or bullying as conduct that unreasonably interferes with a student’s educational performance, causes fear for physical safety, or causes physical injury or emotional harm. The policy must be written in plain language, published on the school’s website, and shared annually with employees and students.
