Introduced Text

New Jersey A5202 mandates annual graduation reporting on student proficiency in English language arts, literacy, and mathematics.

New Jersey A5202 requires local chief school administrators to report annually on the number of students who received a State endorsed diploma and whether they met local graduation requirements in English language arts, literacy, and mathematics. The report must also detail instances where a diploma was issued despite students not meeting proficiency levels. This aggregate data, excluding any student-level or personally identifiable information, will be approved by the board of education, submitted to the Department of Education, and posted on both the local board and department's websites.
