Adjusts funding formula for charter schools in New Jersey to include adjustment aid under certain conditions.

This bill amends the funding formula for charter schools in New Jersey to include adjustment aid in the calculation of districts' payments to charter schools under specific circumstances. Currently, school districts do not forward any portion of their adjustment aid to charter schools. The bill specifies that if 50% of the sum of the district's budget year equalization aid per pupil and the prebudget year general fund tax levy per pupil, adjusted by the Consumer Price Index, is less than the district's adjustment aid per pupil, then the district must transfer to the charter school 60% of the.
