Requires unexpended State aid for nonpublic school nursing services and nonpublic school security services to be used to support nonpublic school transportation services.

Chamber Passed·6/30/26

Allows unexpended State aid for nonpublic school nursing and security services to support nonpublic school transportation services.

This bill permits unexpended funds from the nonpublic school nursing services and nonpublic school security services programs to be used for nonpublic school transportation services. Previously, districts had to refund unexpended funds to the State after the school year. The bill amends existing laws to allow these funds to be reallocated to support transportation services instead.
