Property Tax Relief Act modifies SHBP and SEHBP administration and limits reimbursement for certain medical procedures.

The Property Tax Relief Act makes various changes to the State Health Benefits Program (SHBP) and School Employees' Health Benefits Program (SEHBP) administration and reimbursement levels. The bill limits reimbursement for knee replacements, hip replacements, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, computed tomography (CT) scans, colonoscopies, cataracts, arthroscopy, and diagnostic lab tests performed in an inpatient or outpatient hospital setting. The bill also requires any employer to make a determination as to whether to participate in the SHBP or the SEHBP.
