New Jersey A5066 shifts the primary administration of the WIC Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, Seniors Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program, and Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children from the Department of Health to the Department of Agriculture. The bill also transfers all related grants and funding to the Department of Agriculture. Any Department of Health employees necessary for the administration of these programs will be transferred to the Department of Agriculture. The changes will be made in accordance with the State Agency Transfer Act.
