Revises the membership terms for the Board of Public Utilities (BPU). Requires members to be appointed within 90 days of the bill’s effective date. Initial terms vary from two to six years, with subsequent appointments lasting six years. Requires at least one member to have experience in energy affordability and consumer protection, and another in grid engineering, utility operation, or emergency reliability. Members must be full-time citizens of the state and not engage in other gainful employment.
