The Youth Workforce Readiness Act establishes a five-year pilot program to award competitive grants to eligible entities for out-of-school time youth workforce readiness programs. These programs provide employability skills development, career exploration, employment readiness training, mentoring, work-based learning, and workforce opportunities for eligible youth. Eligible entities must be youth-serving organizations that provide youth workforce readiness programming through out-of-school time programs that are community-based organizations.
