New Jersey A4912 revises the conditions under which public schools and approved private schools for students with disabilities can use virtual or remote instruction to meet the 180-day school year requirement. The bill allows schools to use virtual or remote instruction when they are closed for three or more total school days due to a declared state of emergency, a declared public health emergency, or a directive by a health agency or officer.
