New Jersey A4846 mandates that the Division of Family Development in the Department of Human Services reimburse licensed or registered child care providers for preschool education services at a rate equal to the resident per pupil preschool education aid. This applies to preschool students, defined as three or four year olds enrolled in a preschool education program provided by a licensed or registered child care provider who participates in the State’s child care assistance program.
