Establishes "Safe Guardianship Act;" restricts appointment of certain persons as guardian for incapacitated person.

The bill amends N.J.S.3B:12-25 to restrict the appointment of certain persons as guardians for incapacitated persons. Letters of guardianship shall not be granted to any person who is named in a civil action that is pending. Letters of guardianship shall also not be granted to any person for whom or against whom a temporary or final civil order has been entered, including but not limited to, a temporary restraining order.
