The bill changes allocations of constitutionally dedicated CBT revenues for fiscal year 2026 and thereafter. It authorizes the Garden State Preservation Trust to acquire lands in urban areas for agricultural or horticultural purposes. The bill also establishes a fund for urban agriculture and horticulture and requires the trust to develop a grant program for stewardship activities on acquired lands. The trust must prioritize small parcels of land suitable for agriculture or horticulture.
