Expands category of nonresident children who school district may enroll without payment of tuition.

This bill expands the category of nonresident children who school districts may enroll without payment of tuition. Currently, school districts can enroll nonresident children of teaching staff members without tuition. The bill updates this to include all school district employees permitted by contract or local district policy to enroll their children in the district's educational program without payment of tuition. The definition of resident enrollment for purposes of State school aid is also updated to include these children. The provisions do not apply to county vocational school districts.
