This bill amends the early voting period for regular municipal elections in May in New Jersey. It allows municipalities to extend the early voting period to 10 days, starting on the 11th calendar day before the election, instead of the current 4 days starting on the 7th calendar day before the election. The early voting period will end on the second calendar day before the election. This change applies to municipalities that have already adopted early voting for their May elections.
