Extends property tax benefits to veterans released under other than honorable circumstances.

This bill amends New Jersey law to extend eligibility for the veterans' property tax deduction and the disabled veterans' property tax exemption to include certain veterans who have been released from military service under other than honorable circumstances. The exemption applies if the release did not occur due to infractions involving assault or illegal substances. A surviving spouse may also continue to receive the property tax deduction after the veteran's death, provided they do not remarry. The changes are contingent upon voter approval of a constitutional amendment.
