Exempts local library cooperatives from certain provisions of the "Local Public Contracts Law.
This bill amends the "Local Public Contracts Law" to exclude local library cooperatives from the definition of "contracting unit." It also exempts goods and services provided by local library cooperatives from the public bidding process. Local library cooperatives are defined as groups of academic, institutional, public, school, special libraries, and library-related agencies organized as nonprofit corporations to provide cooperative or reciprocal library services.
