New Jersey A4466 requires law enforcement officers to complete training on their responsibilities as mandated reporters of child abuse and neglect. The Division of Child Protection and Permanency, in coordination with the Division of Criminal Justice, must develop and adopt a training course and curriculum. This training is part of each officer's initial training within 90 days of appointment or transfer and is provided every three years as part of in-service training.
