New Jersey A445 requires school districts to maintain supplies of nasal rescue medication and oxygen for seizure emergencies. The school nurse is responsible for designating secure, accessible locations for these supplies and training additional staff to administer them when the nurse is not present. Parents or guardians must consent in writing, and the district is exempt from liability for any injuries resulting from the administration of these medications and oxygen.
