New Jersey A4231 prohibits the Department of Education from administering assessments developed by the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) after the 2015-2016 school year. The bill mandates that the Commissioner of Education develop and implement a Statewide assessment program, including the State graduation proficiency test, by the 2016-2017 school year, which does not include PARCC assessments.
