Establishes a guardianship monitoring program within the Office of the Public Guardian for Elderly Adults to oversee court-appointed guardians.

This bill creates a guardianship monitoring program within the Office of the Public Guardian for Elderly Adults. The program will oversee court-appointed guardians to detect abuse, neglect, or exploitation of elderly adults. The Public Guardian will review reports submitted by guardians, including those concerning the well-being of the elderly adult and inventory and accounting reports. If problems or inconsistencies are identified, the Public Guardian may intervene in proceedings.
