This bill allows a court to order the transfer of billing responsibility for, and rights to, a wireless telephone number to certain victims of domestic violence or stalking. The court must issue a separate order to the wireless service provider, listing the victim's name and contact information, and ensuring the victim's contact information is not provided to the account holder. The victim assumes all financial responsibility for the transferred number, including monthly service costs and mobile device costs.
