New Jersey A4103 requires a construction permit for work involving asbestos on single-family homes, duplexes, or townhouses. This applies to activities such as application, enclosure, repair, removal, or encapsulation of asbestos-containing material. The permit must be obtained from the enforcing agency in addition to any other permits required by other entities. The bill exempts projects involving less than 1,000 square feet of asbestos-containing material unless otherwise specified by the enforcing agency or the Commissioner of Community Affairs.
