New Jersey A4080 ensures pediatric NJ FamilyCare beneficiaries maintain private duty nursing hours when transitioning to MLTSS and expands appeals.

New Jersey A4080 provides that a NJ FamilyCare beneficiary transitioning from the Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) program to the Managed Long Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) program will automatically receive coverage for no less than the number of weekly private duty nursing service hours they were eligible for under EPSDT. The bill also codifies and expands provisions for appeals of adverse benefit determinations for private duty nursing services.
